Greetings Hanz~~~ welcome to the world of chimney pots ;>)
Pejović...Zorica..good to see you..not so many years ago, the roofs would have been hidden in a thick layer of smog...before regulations prevented the burning of coal ;>)
Hi! **Gabe ;>)..It appears from my local telenews that the east coast USA is getting your share!! Just now, the snow has gone at sea level here, but we're expecting some more in a few days time..;>)
I'm grateful for your visit and good comments ;>)

aga10342...yes, only the roofs Agnieszka...the snow lays only for a short while due to the salty sea air..
Hooman javad---many thanks for your take on this shot Hooman, an interesting point of view ;>)
Lesley Rigby...Hello Lesley ;.) I noticed one of your photos was taken in or near Whitby... although I can think of only one place with such greenery..Grinkle Park..just a wild guess! You will note that I have re-posted the comment minus the post code..As far as my wild guess is concerned..I know my region intimately and Grinkle Park is a strikingly beautiful place...I know of no other in the area with such a stunning display of rhodedendrums!! (not sure of the spelling here) I think you are standing at the entrance to the main gardens ;>)
I'm grateful for all your lovely comments and visit ;>)
Kind regards!
Jim

Hello Yuksel ;>)..It is good to see you..and many thanks for your nice comment..
There is a river that flows through the centre of this picture, concealed by the congested buildings, but if you enlarge the photo it is possible to see people enjoying a walk along the quay side..
Thanks for stopping by ;>)
