Don't think so. It's more south-south east but there's no west to it. In this view, the road is just off the left edge of the frame and the road runs east of south.

Try this for fun: draw a line in Google Earth from your marker to the Petersham Hotel tower that can be seen in the left side of your image. Not convinced? Maybe drawing a second line from your marker through the lonely tree in the middle of your image will do the trick. South West. (But hey, not that it's terribly important ;-)
