Hi Chrmt, Annette & Yuri, thank you all very much for your visits, the stars and the likes!! Sorry for late replies, I've been away for a week. I am happy that you like our little railway. It was built nearly 200 years ago to carry slate down from the mines for shipment at Porthmadog, and as you can see is still running!

Best Wishes Peter

Hi Reni & Krisz,

Thank you so much for visiting our little railway! I am happy that you like it!

I have had a quick look at your gallery, but since you have 90 pages, I think I need a little more time to visit properly!

Best Wishes Peter

Dear Judit,

Thank you so much for visiting our little railway. It is a genuine railway, built to carry slate down from the mines to the harbour for shipping, but now only for tourists. It is also tiny. The rails are only 60 cms apart. This winter day was exceptionally bright because of the snow!

Best Wishes Peter
