You caught the light in a nice manner Ian. Greetings Berend

Photography sometimes requires a little patience and some pre-planning. I enjoyed the game of following the cloud windows that afternoon, Berend. Thanks again for your understanding and enjoyment.

Dear friend, thank you very much for your visit!I always look light, ... as a promise of hope! I love this picture! My greetings, Simona

I am pleased that you love this. Your summer is coming again, Simona. It seems a particularly severe winter you are having, and I am concerned that you are ok, so it is great to hear from you. May a little light shine brightly in your life today, Simona.

I need, now, more than ever, in my life, this ray of hope, shining... Thank you for your good thoughts and images of places so wonderful, Ian! Friendly greetings, Simona

Ian Stehbens on January 10, 2010

Dear Simona,

If my images brighten your life even a tiny bit and our brief conversations encourage you then I am very pleased, dear sister. Are you planning to travel anywhere this year? Ian

Ghiocela on January 10, 2010

Therefore I am here, because they are photos and people who can give the rays of light around them!.. Thanks again, Ian! I still do not have a plan .. with dreams for this year...! Simona

Dream, dream, Simona.

This volcanic landscape is derived from the volcanics of the Mount Warning complex. There is quite a lot of basaltic surfaces in this area which have weathered to yield fertile clay soils. And with good relief close to the coast the area has a moderate rainfall which keeps it green.

Thank you, B@ngkok for your appreciation.

Craig, this was taken standing on the post at the corner of your yard, NOT! Yes, 50M inside NSW, and yes I was standing on the bullbar of a Toyota. A young couple from Newcastle were checking the area out, and stopped to ask if Mt Warning was anywhere around. I took advantage of their vehicle to clear the roadside shrubbery. Then we convinced them that they had missed the best of all so sent them up to Springbrook for the night. I told them to ask for Craig!

Ian Stehbens on January 16, 2010

...."clear" as in "see over", Craig.

Me? A madman when behind the wheel? Never! Put that vision away, until you have been a passenger with me, Craig!

It was a 1 tonne with bullbar and winch so we could have improved the photopoint with a tad of belligerence and grunt... but what value would the photos be then! I tried not to leave much footprint on this glorious part of your world, Craig.
