I have taken a look at the video. It looks like the engines have afterburner like fighter jets. They usually need the afterburner to get thought the Sound Barrier even in high altitude where the air is much thinner.

How come that here are different colors in the air intakes?

This car is a permanent exhibit in the Coventry Transport Museum

The strange colours inside the Jet Intakes are from two spot lights on the ground, in front of each Jet.

I had my camera on a very small tripod, hence the low shot. You can see one spotlight on the left.

They must have had different coloured filters in each Spot.

Glad you liked the video, we saw a film inside a simulator, lots of noise and a fun ride down the Desert If you ever visit this far away land, you have to try this simulator. It was free!!!
