ThrustSSC holds the World Land Speed Record, set on October 15, 1997, when it achieved a speed of 1,228 km/h (763 mph) and became the first car to officially break the sound barrier.

I have taken a look at the video. It looks like the engines have afterburner like fighter jets. They usually need the afterburner to get thought the Sound Barrier even in high altitude where the air is much thinner.
Interesting perspective and excellent photo.
How come that here are different colors in the air intakes?
Greetings from Iceland, Helgi Viðar

Hihelgividar,, many thanks for your visit.
This car is a permanent exhibit in the Coventry Transport Museum
The strange colours inside the Jet Intakes are from two spot lights on the ground, in front of each Jet.
I had my camera on a very small tripod, hence the low shot. You can see one spotlight on the left.
They must have had different coloured filters in each Spot.
Glad you liked the video, we saw a film inside a simulator, lots of noise and a fun ride down the Desert If you ever visit this far away land, you have to try this simulator. It was free!!!
PS: Look out for me in your Gallery
