I shot this in Alviso, CA just north of San Jose, CA. Alviso is located at the southern-most tip of the San Francisco Bay and is a small town that's literally sinking a little bit each year. I have no idea what function these "doorways" serve since they lead to nothing but swamp land and muck but they seemed interesting to photograph.

Very interesting indeed! I love this typical medium format with Velvia film rendering. Beautiful shot! Y*! Cheers, wx

Ahhhh, the old abandoned Alviso Municiple Marina. Once upon a time in the 70's My Dad would take me here and we'd launch our boat, fish for Sturgeon in the Sloughs of the south bay

Now it's just photographs and walking on the levee
