This is a typical picture of the Marche how it looks like when you drive land inward from the Adriatic coast to the Apennine Mountains. It's getting greener and greener with gradually higher hills with their (obligatory) medieval village on top. Here, on the road from Montottone to Force, we're looking SW toward Force and the Monti Sibillini. The village on the hilltop to the left is Montelparo with its typical bell tower. On the right, in the distance, we see Santa Vittoria in Matenano. The pink house in the foreground is Casa Sacciofa.
