Crikey Peter buritwercowd in them days wantit?

And Hardy Spicer That rings a bell, I am sure that is reminding me of lying under cars, covered in grease. Didn't they make ball bearings or something like?

Them were days eh?

Thank God they're over. All the best from North Carolina.

Hi Jethro

Yes I think Hardy Spicer made car components such as drive shafts.

In them days you could do a bit of car maintenance yourself; remember changing points and adjusting carburettors. Nowadays with fuel injection and other things you, well I am completely lost!

All the Best Peter

Hmmmmm...., some philosophy there Peter

Are you saying the cars have changed or is it us thats changed? Do broke, young folks not fix their cars by the side of the road no more?

I just assumed that as my limbs got stiffer and my tolerance of cold got worse (and my wallet got fatter) I just preferred to get someone else to do it.

Need to mull some on that one.

Stay warm ol' buddy!
