I understand that this church was a gift from the Japanese Government, with the intention that it be used to celebrate the weddings of Japanese couples in Bali. The Christian Church of Bali (GKPB) is the owner of the church. Its architectural style was a Japanese decision - the Balinese Christians use a deliberate Balinese architectural style for their other churches.

Thankyou Lincluden. I concur. Its is an attractive building, beautifully maintained, but it is certainly not "balinese". Ian

Thankyou Chawol. Is the service held at 7:30am or 7:30pm? I have been to other GKPB services but not here at St Mikael's. Ian
