Hi, Jean! Well, if it were a mud crack like this, no problem because it is sedimentary and it is originated from a natural pelitic rocks with no contaminats (no hazardous). But this one from Yellowstone, hummm... I´d firstly measure temperature and pH (intersticial water/solution) before diping in the finger! Best regards, André.
