Another popular 'drinking hole', this time on Maid Marian Way. The pinpoint is a near approximation to it's atual position. This pic taken May 2007.

Hi Asparagus: Yes, you're quite correct, but as one smart alec said in reply to my comment about his pic of the Trip To Jerusalem Inn, 'if the pub's name is already in the picture, (on the wall) why repeat it?' He took umbrage, but he's entitled to his opinion, as are you. There was a time when the original lettering was made of wood (on the black board sign) but bits kept falling off so that it looked rather tatty, so they replaced it with the sign you see here. Thanks for your comment.

I have received a message today 20-6-2008, that my pic needed to be move. The suggestion was well wide of the actual mark. but the original placemark was alo incorrect. When I took the pic, I was standing on the central reservation along Maid Marian Way. The 'new' placemark is where the pub actually stands, and NOT where the correspondent's suggested position should be.

I don't have anything to say but the pictures are good and I like it. If you guys own some pictures around the St Ann's Way, it would be appreciated. Thanks
