Bear ( name Una ) wild life Sanctuary nr Whittier Alaska.
Don't know what lens the photog was using but it appears even if it had been a very long lenses that he(or she) is way to near too near this young brownie. In the best case scenerio he's acclimating the bear to human presense= bear looses natural fear of man; very bad for everyone, in the extreame worse case he could be attacked and / or eaten. Brownies can move at 40+ MPH over short distances (several hundred yards) Stay away and allow these magnificant but unpredictable beasts their rightful space.
Great shot! Reminds me of playing seesaw with logs in Seward when I was a kid. Would not want to join in a game with this guy. LIKED :)
Best wishes from a former Alaskan now living in Oregon,
Sharon
