In 1950, Amerigo D'Aurízio and Erminia Bucciarelli, Mimi, came from Abruzzi in Italy and settled in the neighborhood of the Bladder, in Sao Paulo. The couple began life in Brazil, with the Cantina Chamarré and then, still in Bela Vista, open the Cantina of Amerigo.

One day, Tito Fernando, one of five children, visiting Campos do Jordao falls in love with the city and in 1979, opens the Cantina La Bella Italia di Nonna Mimi.

Today, the Cantina is directed by D. Laura, elder sister of Titus. The extreme dedication of the owner, coupled with original recipes from the Abruzzi region, causes the Cantina is not just a piece of Italy in Amman, but an extension of your home.

The restaurant has several awards for excellent cuisine, Maggie. Thank you and hugs.

Hello Beatriz,

a very, very nice picture. I like it so much. You was in Italy now?

Greetings, Maria

Beatriz Barreto Tane… on January 23, 2010

Thank you Maria. I'm not in Italy. I was walking in my country, this restaurant is located in Campos do Jordão in the State of Sao Paulo. Campos do Jordao is called Brazilian Switzerland, mainly for its European-influenced architecture and its cold climate. Hugs.
