The Oriental Theater, now part of the Landmark Theater chain, opened in 1927. It remains a remarkably well-preserved movie palace, including a Kimball theater pipe organ, played on Fridays and Saturdays before the 7 PM show. The theater claims to have the world record for a film engagement. Rocky Horror Picture Show has been a midnight film since 1978, currently showing the second Saturday of the month.
