Greetings Billy, I'm glad I visited your postings. Wonderful work. I love this scene of low fog. Such depth and color. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing more of your hill walking experiences. Your mountains are beautiful.
Thanks for all your Comments Richard, they're much appreciated. I like photography but consider my self no more than average at it. Hill walking on the other hand is a passion.
Your too kind Anne. I've just looked at your photos of fog & liked them very much. I've always loved the way fog & mist seems to soften everything and gives scenes a mystical feel. One of the best experiences I’ve had hill walking was one summer morning when I took my Australian cousin to the top of Ben Lomond. It was a very misty morning but it wasn’t long before we had walked above it. The scene from the top was breath taking & made for one of my favourite photos.
hi billy, a really great scene! all the important things are done by junebug and erwin and so i just lay back and enjoy your set of pictures... thank you for that wonderful ones :)

btw. is "Renfrew" a county or a part of Glasgow? I have been at "Refrew Street" in Glasgow last time.
Thanks for your nice comment mene. Renfrewshire is a county but Renfrew is a town 5 miles from Glasgow. Your right, there is a 'Renfrew street' in Glasgow city centre.
Thanks for your comment on my fog picture, Billy! This one is very similar - I really like the shades of pink and gray in the sky and the soft colours. Cheers, Anne
Beautiful like a painting! When the mapping tool is working I'll come back to see where this is ;) Unusual colors in this unusual image you caught. -alicia
Thanks for the very nice comment Alicia. This was taken early in the morning before the sun had a chance to burn away the mist so I was lucky to be there at the right time. I shot this from hills just north of Glasgow. :)

Thanks Anne. The beauty of fog is that it does soften evrything.
