Nice to meet you , Ian!
Greetings , Argenna.
Thanks Argenna.Proud moment!
I'm pleased to meet you! Is it a painting or more a collage? All the best, Jörn
Nice to meet you too Jörn, 'Key West' was my first attempt at original abstract art. You are partly right as it started life as a small collage which I then went on to paint in acrylic on canvas. I was lucky enough to win the APV Films Watercolour prize with it at the Royal Birmingham Society Of Artists. Ian.
Very Interesting Painting!
Thanks Mário, not the best picture of me, though!
My belated best wishes!
I tried to find some more information about this competition - but I was unable to get any info about it, wether on the APV- nor on the RBSA-website?
But I did find your blog and I'm deeply impressed by your oeuvre!
There is this painting visible with a bit more in detail, it's very imposing and got its prize quite rightly!
Especially i like the "Cornflowers" (in the bulbous vase), "30's Roses" and "Imagened Landscape". You see, I tend to like more the representational art :)
Affectionate regards, Jörn
Jörn, clever you! You found my paintings blog and so glad you like some of the pictures there. If you wish to get in touch you can find me at email:
