Canons have panorama settings and a great auto stitching program. A panorama takes only 2 minutes to splice together and the program hides all the defects ie lighting issues... Prior to my Canon, I built panoramas in Adobe Photoshop and it took hours what is more never looked as good as this.
Generally no... I hate when photographers messing with photos, I am not a fan of the effects people add digitally after the fact (with the one exception Black & White).
I feel digital alterations ruin the photograph and really, require no skill to produce...
But hey that is one nerds option... others disagree.
:D I like the colour quality in that one so was hoping you hadn't. I did read that many were very pleased with Canon's colour. I really want a camera that accurately captures the colours of the prairies (and is crisp and clear). Not having to buy photoshop also appeals to me.
If you’re going to buy a digital camera buy brands made by strictly by a camera companies (Canon, Nikon, etc)... the know optics and thus make a quality camera as opposed to Kodak, Sony, etc.

Thank you again! It looks like it would be in the same price range as the Nikon D300 (hope that's correct) that I've been eyeballing.
Do you use Adobe Photoshop to increase the colour saturation in your pictures?
