Black Bears are not always black. They can be cinnamon, many shades of brown or sivery blue and might even be white! I'm talking about real bears, not just the carved ones.

:-))) They look great! Well done Jean

Greetings Klaus

Klaus, they are so cute that I want one for me! It'd look great sitting here in my living room looking out at the rain and the wet trees with a few brown leaves and loads of rain drops and moss and lichens on the trees with a grey sky and no birds or brave squirrels. Not even a wet dog. It'd look great here on a sunny tomorrow too.

Was this a contest or and exhibition? Some great work there. We see a lot of this here as the bears and the north woods cabin look are pretty symbolic of this area also.

Cool shots. You need to have one!

These are great. Cunning artist to portray them all with "Take me home" expressions! :D

Awwww, that is a sweetie-pie, how could you leave him there? Yes, very cunning, these bears.

Jean Gregory Evans on February 6, 2010

Joy, the two artists were set up on a parking lot for part of one day. The little bears were so adorable!

Margot, Oh, I sure would like one!

Lisa, I had not realized it but you are exactly right! And I really, really wanted to take one home.

Nawitka, Those cutie-pies are very cunning. I may have to place my order when I get my money saved up. :))

Aww they are NICE!

Itallica on May 29, 2010

Is the symbol "black bears" or "chain saw work"?

Jean Gregory Evans on May 29, 2010

Ritva, I can tell you would be a great somebody to go with to shop. :)

Tery, LOL! raise a good question! :))
