I watched a programme on The Travel Channel called 'Train Journeys in Switzerland'. Well, I just saw the end of it. It was a narrow gauge track that took in the beautiful scenery of the hills and mountains of Switzerland. It may have been filmed 13 years ago, jugging by the date at the end of the programme. Even then they were upgrading the track by taking out bendy sections by building a sweeping concrete bridge in one section, and there was talk of adding a 3rd rail to a section of wide gauge track, to allow the train continue to the nearest big town. I'm sorry i didn't catch any of the names!

It was a beautiful journey, even if I was at home on the sofa!

Good idea to come to see Switzerland! The regions you mentioned are doubtless beautiful, but there are many others at least just as beautiful. Sure, the lake of Geneva and the lake of Thun/Jungfrau regions are absolutely outstanding, but so are the Grisons, like for example the Bernina/Maloja region, of which I will soon upload some more photos.
