Alan, thank you for your visit and nice comment! I think, Switzerland offers some of the most famous train journeys. I have put a few trains on the following link Swiss trains and I will upload some more of my collection of about 300 photos of Swiss trains, as soon as I get back to show my photos of the Grisons in Switzerland from last year. I'll then tell more about them.

Best wishes, May

I really love your photos. You have a website? When I travel to Switzerland, I will definitely want some tips on photography of the region of Interlaken, Lautebrunnen and around the lake Genebrae if I am not mistaken, these are the most beautiful in Switzerland Correct? I love landscapes, especially mountains! A big hug

Rodrigo, thank you for your nice comments! I have a website, but haven't worked on it for a long time.

Good idea to come to see Switzerland! The regions you mentioned are doubtless beautiful, but there are many others at least just as beautiful. Sure, the lake of Geneva and the lake of Thun/Jungfrau regions are absolutely outstanding, but so are the Grisons, like for example the Bernina/Maloja region, of which I will soon upload some more photos.

Warm regards, May

Michael, I am happy you like it. Thanks to Wim, we got the story of this engine. It was constructed 1940 in Germany and came 1980 from Tübingen Germany to the group VHE historical trains in Emmental. Another nostalgic train on the same line. Warm regards, May
