Thanks for your visit to my gallery. I'm certainly pleased that you have enjoyed it so much. Being proactive about travel and taking my camera with me, is the short answer to your query, Zack.
This photo and many others are taken close to home. Some of my international travel has been part of my professional life, especially in the US, UK, South Pacific and SE Asia. A couple of times I have been on "paid long service leave or sabbatical leave", but a few have either been voluntary service or recreational travel, including my visit to NZ this last couple of weeks.
A super photo Ian, I love the florescent light from the cascading water as it plunges into the depth of the dark cave. Best wishes, Anita
If only I could have you both sit here in the warmth for an hour or two, delighting in the light plays, the sounds and the gentle wafts of warm air that descend the valley. It would be wonderful therapy, and excite your love of beauty.
All the best,
We can but dream of such a place Ian. At least we have shared your wonderful experience through your photo's. Our best wishes to you. Anita
Yet, Anita I am reminded of a place out your back door and over the moors: Malham Cove. That was a similar dream come true for me when I hiked and drove in that particular dale above Airehead.
:) Ian, The only element missing there at Malham cove is the cascading water that has long vanished into the clints and grykes. The view of the cove is magnificent, I'm so pleased you enjoyed your visit to that area. Regards, Anita
