Beuatiful waterfall, Andrew!

Thank you Liam and Valerius

It truly is a magical place, it is in the middle of a small village and has that 'fairytale' ambience.

Hi, Andrew. My suggestion to you with this picture go to the competition for January. You will have my vote. Sincerely yours, Đani. The Best of.

Andrew on January 27, 2010

I think I already entered 5 pictures. Anyway the competition isnt so important. I have a few other similar pictures of this cascade I could upload next month.

Thank you for your comments and vote Dani

What is the height of it?

Andrew on January 28, 2010

Thank you Didier, always a pleasure to see you.

I think its more than 20 metres

but size isnt important, its one of those special little places the French have so many of.

Excellent shot Andrew. Y*.Looking at the rocks around this waterfall, it looks like Limestone and often there are caves in this type of area.Best Regards,David

You are right about the limestone and caves, France has an abundance of both. Some of the caves are spectacularly breathtaking . We managed to visit two of them when were there in June. For some reason we dont seem to have uploaded any pics of them yet, my fault, I do all the image processing before uploading.
