mesmerizing shot, dramatic but i suspect mundane as well. Y*

I think I finally figured it out...but if there had not been all the talk I would never have even thought to guess! Delightful abstract!

Maja, Jean, and JF, thaks for the comments and, yes, Jean it is mundane. The spotlight for the Condo complex sign was buried in snow so it 'thought' it was dark enough to be switched on. What a let-down! Theolfa

Certainly some witchcraft going on here Theolfa you've got me flabbergasted. No erupting vulcano, no alien life form working his way up trough the snow just a simple spotlight doing a magic job.

Warm wishes (looks like you need those), Erik

It's only minus 24 this morning, Erik, and the sun is shining, teh Winter Olympics are on TV, (will keep an eye on the Dutch speed skaters) I have dowloaded my Las Vegas Pics on the iMac, and now to start sending some to Pano. Cheers! Theolfa

Only -24 should do some hibernating! Just saw a nice name joke made by Norrel calling Vancouver => Svencouver

Extraordinary, the warm light shining from below on the snow. Very well captured! Kind greetings. Angela

Theolfa on February 16, 2010

Thanks, Angela! It was fun while it lasted but now the snow is shrinking and Spring will soon be here, DV. Theolfa

It may be a spotlight Theolfa but it is pure magic and congrats on spotting it and taking such a lovely intriguing surreal photo. I just love it.

Warmest wishes, Hazel

Theolfa on February 19, 2010
