Lovely pictures but I think a few have got into the wrong place. Several of these refer to Bwlch y Groes, near Dinas Mawddwy, which is not the same place as Moel Eilio.

If there's more than one Bwlch y Groes then the link with the other one needs to be amended so that these pics don't appear there.

Your suspicion is correct, there are more than one Bwlch y Groes in Wales, The one between Dinas Mawddwy and Llanuwchllyn is the most famous of them, because it is the highest pass, in Wales, where you can drive your car over. This particular Bwlch y Groes is between Waenfawr and Llanberis, and it is the last climb on the Marathon Eryri, one of the toughest races you can run.

I have tagged this image to the location where it was taken on Panoramio, or as close as I can make it. What I suspect what has happened is that some search engine has picked up on the name, and not the actual location, I don’t have much control over that I’m afraid.

Incidentally, there are also more than one Moel Eilio.
