To be truthful i'm not sure Alan can either :))
Steve Did he REALLY fall in? :)) Did you try it?
Hi Sarah No I did not fall in the ropes do bounce around a bit when you are on them. I think this time discretion was the better part of valour we crossed the river at a shallow narrower bit!.Regards Alan
I Steve Thanks for bringing this memory back and a nice shot too.One for the favs me thinks.Regards Alan

Hi Nick not to bad at this hight but i bet some of those army ones were a lot higher :))
Hi Steve LIKE Great photo of the bridge. I didn't use the bridge to cross just walked through the water it was a very warm day but the water low, still went over & into my boots.
HA HA yes Judith SNAP ! we ended up walking through the water too but our gaitors kept it on the outside :))
thank you for another "Like" here
Nice picture of Alan on the army assault course!!
In answer to the question posed in picture no.93184904, no, I, like everybody else, simply walked over the big stones at the widest (and hence shallowest) part of the river. On this occasion there was so little water that my boots didn't even get wet.
Hello Peter yes Alan just had to have a go as i waded over the shallows too like you but after walking the five or so mountains and devils ridge that make up "The Ring of Steal" walk Alan decided against the bridge :))
