Lovely photograph William, if you get time have a look at some of this photographer's (www.panoramio.com/user/588149) images I stumbled upon, they're really good too. Cheers, Andy.
Well I'd say it was working well ~ or put it another way you are using it well :) ~ Ciao nick
Ah yes - its first outing. It was so exciting that I had to keep stopping to take photos! .. kept forgetting that we were supposed to be out on a brisk walk. My darling wife, tends to be less distance ahead of me now that she has a D60 to hand and she's just inherited my 10-24mm. Both camera and lens together weight less than the 14-24 and now I got myself a 24-70 to keep it company. Had to sell everything else on ebay. Ah well.
Well you have the most important pair in my opinion and yes the weight tends to build your muscles up ~ I nearly always have it on a tripod ~ so maybe I'm a wimp :)
It's the Sigma 150-500 that adds muscle tone. Maybe I should use a tripod but I normally don't have enough time to set it up 'cos I'm on a route march somewhere. Anyway, as someone who has been know to take the odd garish shot, I liked the sunset!
So you are a serious weight lifter then :)))
very very nice shot
