Delphi, because of the temple of Pythian Apollo and the oracle, which is ancient, since Agamemnon had been given an oracle as said by the poet; for the quitar player is introduced singing: "the quarrel of Odysseus and Achilles, son of Peleus, how once they strove-Agamemnon, king of men, felt rejoice, for thus Phoivos Apollo, at giving response to him at Pytho, told him it should be." From Strabo's Geography. Book 9:3(2).
