interesting spot! do the bricks fall when they get old?
hi labelmom/Rebekah, thanks for your visit with an interesting and reasonable question... the bricks are centuries old but standing firmly in place... eg. these are over 17 centuries old... recent archaeological research has shown that the stone pier of the Diocletian's Palace was built using the binder of cement that hardened under the sea... late 3rd century
