This aircraft was first flown 26.10.61, one of a batch of 44 built. To 92 Squadron and converted to 2A and then returned to 92 Squadron 24.6.69. Been sitting in this scrapyard at Balderton, Notts, for twenty years or more, right next to the A1 and has been the subject of the graffiti mob. Some superb photos have been taken by enthusiasts and can be found on the various Lightning sites!!! A sad end to a mighty machine!
