Ooooooh, but you are a sneaky one. Birds, thirds, words all, but the execution, as the bard might say, is the thing. You have executed this, and us, mighty well, leading to an unequal division of excellence, as it all is here.

Don't ask me what I just said, or what it all means. I like this one a lot.

Thanks very kindly for the many words not1word!

...and the rule of birds is: to maintain centre of attraction!!

Well seen and executed.

Thanks geomancer! I do confess to standing out there on the breakwater waiting for the returning boats that were trailed by gulls, to snap them as they passed near the glow from the sun. But I wasn't at all aware of the 1/3 banding of the light areas. Thanks!

Neat shot Bits. And you know anyone standing underneath the birds would be painfully reminded of the "Rule of turds".

An ornithocracy.

Thanks very much David! It's great to head out to this 1/2 mile long breakwater at sunset, and be surrounded by the sea and the sky, and watch the working boats heading back into port, trailing their hangers-on!
