May, this is breathtaking! I feel like I'm going to fall into that valley! Very beautiful photo! Ryan

Thank you Ryan! Again you have found one, which I really like as well.

It's one of my favorite places, to which I often go for a hike. There are beautiful views and very nice woods. On this day was some haze and clouds before the very big snow mountains. But I like it in any case. In the foreground is a meadow full of wild flowers, it's a marvellous sight. I think, in this picture the special character of the Emmental hills can clearly be seen with rolling hills and cultivated meadows, no matter how steep they are. And always patches of some woods as well, which are homes to wild life. The villages are mostly down in the valleys, whereas on the hills are many single farmhouses in their solitude and beautiful views. Everyone in its little kingdom. :-)

Ciao, May

Thanks, John! That's in the Emmental (Switzerland) again! Yes, it's very steep on these hills and hard work for the farmers. But the wild flowers and the view are exceptional. On this picture it's a little hazy, which is nice also, in clear weather you see the high snow mountains behind the ones you see now.

Greetings, May

A lovely view over the Swiss landscape. Layers of hills in the middle and mountains in the back. The flowerfield in the foreground, adds a lot of color.

Thanks a lot, Hans! It's a typical view in the Emmental!

best regards, May
