AXOTA dear friend, wonderful photo taken with a perfect angle. Picturesque houses like these deserve to be seen by the world. Its architecture, its brick and settlers, with neutral colors and the bay in the background. The look of fotográfor was perfect. Congratulations. Antonor (from Belo Horioznte, MG - Brazil).

My humble apologies to you both for my extraordinary long delay in responding!

stephane meurat~~~Thank you so much for taking the time to stay a while..Your lovely compliment means a lot to me!

antonor-----A warm welcome dear Antonor..I have enjoyed your fulsome comments and fully concur with your sentiments on these ancient dwellings, some of them dating back to the 17th century!

On a recent return to this village, one moonlit starry night, I took another photograph of this little street from a slightly different angle :) perhaps you might like to see THIS

To you both, I send my sincere wishes and hope that the sweet light shines on you always!

Kind regards!

And beautiful Robin Hood's bay again. LIKE. Greetings, volnat

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on April 13, 2011

volnat~~~Greetings!! This is a delightful little village that attracts people from across the world. The streets throng with thousands of visitors during the summer months..The beach and shore line is a magnet for children as they play in the rock-pools looking for crabs, tiny fish, shrimps, anemones and eels! This is one of my favourite places on Earth, especially in the quiet winter months!

Glad you like it too!

tictac~~~~Your nice comment and L is much appreciated, thanks!

Zygmunt Borowski~~~~Hi! This small coastal village is very picturesque and popular with the tourists. Cottages such as these are mainly holiday lets and can be hired for around £1000 per week in the height of summer. This village is also one of my favourite places! Thank you for your kind appraisal and L >
