Another beautiful shot. Do you often vacation in Ireland, or perhaps have family there? Or maybe you have some dragon hunters in your ancestry, and you're naturally draw to chase them!

I went to Ireland in 2006 for the very first time and I felt immediately like coming home, though I have no family there I know off. In June 2007 I went back again. I would never hunt dragons, since they are my friends. ;-) But I love to discover them. :-)

I love Ireland, but then I like most places. It's adventurous to discover new countries and getting to know people who live there.

Fine picture May!!! I know the place, it's very special! Once you've been to Ireland you want to go back, if it was only for the pubs and the music! Greetings from Holland

Thanks, Dick and Herma! I went again this year to the same place. I love the atmosphere of the pubs but at least as well the scenery, the mystic places and the people. :-)

Thanks, Gerry and a friendly whizz from my dragons! ;-)

Gerry, when I told two tourists about the dragon, they said, that I was worse than the Irish with their stories. I took it as a big award and I am still happy about it! ;)) May

You are not far from it! ;-)

The bio hay, the mountain farmers produce, is mainly used for very special pets, like chocolate cows, guinea pigs, pet horses, people having hay baths, even for some recipes and in some places, they offer a night in the hay of dried herbs - so we can't avoid sniffing it. I mean, there are hundreds of people around who sniff, when the hay season starts. Of course we won't admit and say we have the sniffels or hay fever. ;-))

Hi Gerry! Fine, I am already looking forward to your pictures from Switzerland! :-)

I try to give some facts, though you probably know them. The main difference is, that Geneva belongs to the French-speaking part of Switzerland and Zurich to the German-speaking part. Geneva is right at the border to France. Both are on the shore of the lakes, to which they have given their names. - I am sure you won't expect anything like Portmarnock for the water and like Dublin for the city ;-).

From Zurich as well as from Geneva you can see some snow mountains, if the weather is clear, though in Geneva they are nearer.

On the Swiss side of the lake of Geneva is the picturesque Lavaux - a wine-growing region - which has recently been recognised as a world heritage site by Unesco. So, for autumn, I would most certainly choose Geneva. The Lavaux-region is perfect for wonderful pictures of the soft blue lake, the snow mountains and for the beautifully coloured autumn wine leaves of the high slopes along the lake. I'll upload a few pictures those days from the lake of Geneva.

You can find some information in Switzerland You can also podcast the page and order free brochures.

You're welcome! :) I think, Roger Federer might give you the same advice as I do. "Take the beer after the game!" ;-)
