Hi Mary Alice, in my city (Madrid)the snow isn't usual, but every winters snow one or two days. Often, the next day ther's no trace of white at the park and streets, but this winter we had 4 or 5 white days and I really love them. I like your picture

Warm regards

MaryAlice, so we finally got a snowy picture from you too. Looks so beautiful and peacuful. Now tell us also, do you ski. In that case we all wait with great excitement with a photo of MaryAlice on skis...ok joking..I used to ski when in Finland, I have tried water skis here in Florida, but this place is so flat, so it is no fun. It hs been a while I heard from you, so I thought I should drop a couple of nutty lines and see how you are up North. Be safe and warmest wishes/Harri

Greetings, Mark, and please forgive my overlooking your comment somehow. I just now found it way up above all the rest, and I'm so sorry that I'm just now getting back to you about it. I feel just horrible... you probably think I just skipped right over you. I certainly didn't mean to. Indeed, it DOES snow in Georgia on these certain rare occasions! You will not hear ME complaining about the snow ever, or at least as long as I live way down here in the south. I do understand about how it must be if you have it on a day to day basis though. Spring is just around the corner though, even for you all, right? Thank you so much for visiting, and Again, I'm greatly sorry for this very delayed reply.

Warmest regards always,

Mary Alice

Yes, Jan, The earth becomes colder! Indeed, it was VERY cold on this particular morning, but alas, the snow is long gone. It was only here for a matter of hours, though I enjoyed every minute of ever hour. =)

Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoying this bit of excitement with me.

I hope all is well in your part of the world. It's great hearing from you.

Warmest regards from Georgia,

Greetings, Daniel, and thank you for visiting our Georgia snow.

It sounds as though your opportunities for snow in Madrid run right along the same line as ours. That is interesting.

I'm glad that you've gotten at least a few great days of snow there this year already though. That's fantastic, and I know you've enjoyed it greatly.

Thank you again for your kind visit, and I wish you a wonderful evening.

All the best from Georgia,

Mary Alice

Good evening, Harri, and how are you? Oh, I'm so happy to hear from you. I'm sorry that it took me a bit to get to your comment. I've been trying desperately to catch up with my comments over the past few days. Sometimes they get the best of me, but I'm working my way through them at a steady pace. =)

Yes indeed, we finally got our own little share of snow! It was so delightful! Did you get any there?

No, I am sad to report that I do not ski. I have never tried it, not even once. I've never had the opportunity. Skiing in Finland sounds like fun though! Good for you! =)

How is the ice cream situation? I've branched off onto putting crumbled up mint chocolate cookies in mine! Oh, it's so heavenly! =)

Anyway, thank you for enjoying my little bit of snow, and, as always, it's such a pleasure hearing from you.

Wishing you every happiness,

Mary Alice

Hi Mary Alice,

This one stands out as being so different in your gallery, SNOW!! It must be so unusual, and yet you have made such a nice picture of it. I love the way it hangs thickly on the trees, and the bright blue sky. Magnificent!

Best Wishes Peter

PS, We've had it for 3 months!!

MaryAlice on March 10, 2010

Greetings, Peter, and thank you so much for visiting this little snowy wonderland! I know it's a common sight for you, but not for us over here! We rarely EVER see the stuff, so I was SO excited about it. I stayed out in it until it melted, only hours after it had fallen in the first place. Still, what a treat! =)

I'm so happy that you enjoyed this shot, and thank you for your kind praise.

Hopefully, for your sake, Spring will make an appearance over your way soon! Until then, stay warm and dry!

It's great hearing from you, and I hope you are well. =)

Best wishes always,

Mary Alice
