Blacktail deer cross a side stream to pass under a fallen spruce.
We have some very large trees here, even when they are laying on their side.
Best wishes, Larry
That spruce is enormous! Very pretty picture, great capture!
I love the big tree here. Well, really I like all kinds of trees.
Excellent image!... :)
Best wishes, Jaga
Thank you Jaga!
Best regards, Larry.
I love this capture Larry. That is one huge tree! Wow. Best regards, Tom
Thank you very much Tom. All the record holders for the major trees that grow here are found in the Quinault and Queets drainages.
Best regards, Larry
I live on the Big Quilcene River and do a fair amount of hiking in this incredible area. I have seen a lot of big trees but, with the deer juxtaposed against it, this one is amazing! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Jeff. Glad you like this. I too enjoy hiking in the Olympic as well as in the Mount St. Helens area. It is such a contrast of two different worlds now.
