Mandal coastal waters in winter

I'm in part of the northern US Mid-West that is supposed to remain comfortable, so we feel cheated when it's hot.

Actually I live in Ontario, Canada, and come north to Wisconsin, USA, for the summer. That confuses everybody!!

Yes, travelling north to get from Canada to the US mainland is puzzeling. (I had to look :)
