Not that I was exploring the wilderness though, but I had to wade through some pretty deep heaps of snow to get close enough for my flash to reach sufficiently so that I could get what I wanted. Right there and then I wasn't too happy with it either, especially when it started to melt on my clothes :)

Hi May :) Thank you for all the wonderful comments! It was a late night after heavy snowfall, so there were hardly any traffic along the road. The serenity, silence and the dark forest beyond made it a magical moment. I just love the snow and the winter season, (I love all 4 seasons ;) but I agree that it could wait a little while longer before it gets here this year :)
