Hi Matthew, there is no danger! The birds on the chimneys are storks, and in Germany and Austria there is the fairytale they would bring the babies. Besides the nice stories, fact is: the area of the Neusiedlersee, a shallow savannah-lake, is a famous birds- paradise and Rust is wellknown for hosting the storks (as I could see on your fotos, you have already been there)Greetings from Austria!
