Just to know a little of the Rainforest.

The longitudinal arrangement of the Rainforest, variations in altitude and changes weather contributed to the emergence and maintenance of new species, more vigorously than in the Amazon. It has been recorded about 261 species of mammals (73 endemic), 340 of amphibians (253 endemic), 192 reptiles (60 endemic), 1020 birds (188 endemic),In addition to approximately 20 000 plants, half of which would be exclusive. This diversity of species and their distribution are also the result of spatial fragmentation, in altitude and latitude, that marked the history of this tropical landscape.

Deforestation of the 20th century led to new and fast fragmentation. A similar process would result in the Amazon and negative. The Rainforest is more able to cope with fragmentation than other biomes of Brazil. It is a forest that is rapidly restored, his intimacy with plants adapted to the humidity. Orchids, mosses, lichens, ferns and bromeliads involving branches and tree trunks that meet your daily requirement to fight for light, competing horizontal and vertical spaces in the land of rugged terrain.
