The Barnett Bobb log house was built in 1811 or 1812 and was relocated here near other historic buildings from a few blocks away on Pershing Street.
No HDR on this shot. It is a single exposure.
well, nice dinamic range of your camera! :)
I reallly like the sun rays... awesome!
Mr. A., I've been wondering about crepuscular rays since I saw this shot. Do you need to have a little fog (by any name) in the air for them to be seen? Although I suppose heavy dust will do in a pinch :)
I'm pretty sure the sun has to reflect off something. In a large scale setting (e.g. through clouds) there are usually enough particles in the air for it to work. Close up I think a little mist or smoke doesn't hurt, but I don't know whether it's a requirement or not.
Thank you - yes, I guess it has to be some kind of particulate matter
