This views are old postcard [1890] views from period as the city of Mulhouse were occupated by german forces. Mulhouse is french region, since 1640 and was annexed to Germany from 1870 to 1918 ( after wars) and from 1939 to 1945(during second world war). Mulhouse is of course situated in France. Sorry.
