Spring Creek Church is a non-denominational, conservative evangelical church that averages about 2,000 in weekly attendance, putting it in the classification of mega-church, but just barely. The congregation started in 1881 in Milwaukee as the Garfield Baptist Church. It moved to Wauwatosa in 1964 and then to this location in 1997. It changed its name in 2001 to broaden its reach beyond its Baptist roots.

Did you use some HDR or HDR-like techniques with this image? I see some things that would lead me to think that it may be tonemapped HDR, but just barely.

Austin, just a very light application of equalization, which is one of the processes that HDR software uses that give that so-called HDR look.

That makes sense. Equalization in Photoshop Elements is an all-or-nothing technique (literally - there are NO controls), so I seldom use it. I can apply it to a background copy and then fade it in (using the opacity control), but it's an extra step and I end up not thinking about it.

To the person who suggested that I move the pin: the pin is supposed to be where I was when I took the photo, not at the entrance to the building.
