Hello again Micha :) I know some of the footprints are in museum in Ankara but I am not sure whether or not the particular ones on my picture are also protected before the road expansion construction gone over them :(

Well, I am glad you found Panoramio :) And yes, Panoramio and Google Earth is so powerful binding people together, I think this would be the the only way that would lead to a world with no boundaries someday :)

From your photos you appear to be world citizen already, I am having hard time deciding where you are really from ;D

And yes, If I ever end up near North Germany, I'd definitively ask for your advice for site seeing and photography.

Hi Helen, as you are now aware ;) I have a good reason to feel attached to Volcanoes. I wonder what may be your reasons :) At this moment, we do not have active Volcano in Turkey either -except me ;). But knowing that we have some serious tectonic movements there, I am sure such activity is just a matter of time. Best wishes, Volkan
