Hi Grant, I heard a great story once about a pilot of one of these who sat among the passengers, out of uniform, feigning impatience and frequently muttering "where's the pilot". After enough time elapsed he stood up and said "that's it I'm not waiting any longer" - pulled the steps up and closed the door and took off.... :-o. I was told he lost his job. I don't know that there was any truth to it but what a lark if there was. I hope he at least retained his sense of humour!!

I was on one of these once and they actually moved us all around to balance out the weight!

A fine tale - I hope it's true. Its nice to think of a pilot having such a good sense of humour. I fear, if it is true, he would have suffered the same fate as that which awaits the Air Traffic controller in the States last week who had his small children making radio instructions to planes from the tower !!
