Thanks again Sonny Panoramas can be a desiese as bad as 3D Virus, if you get close enough you'l probably end up infected as well ;)

If you want to have a better impression of an area try looking here and click where it says 'cacilhas'

This is my most recent 360º panorama. there you can see the boat you liked so much from another angle.

Try exploring your hometown area, go for the path bar on the top of the screen, maybe you'l find some panoramas from there, if there aren't any, let yourself get infected and start shooting some. :)

Cheers

Wow - this is really something! Wasn't aware before how huge this ship is!

I can imagine about another infection!LOL Do you have a special camera or are they stitched? I've done a few stitched ones but it's rather painful especially when the sky changes on different exposures. This one is quite okay but just about 180° as well as this one what has to be so small since it's of horrible quality. It was 10 years ago with a first generation digi cam from the balcony of the house I grew up. I'd love to repeat it but somebody else is living there now!LOL

I did have a good opportunity fromhere to there to make another 180° panorama but I just forgot about it!LOL

The camera is just a normal compact one. I used tripod to make the photos all around without tilting, 11 photos total. then used a simple stitch program (lots of them in the web, demo's and freeware) to unite it and voila! A new Virus! I know for a fact that I already infected some people on Panoramio, after beeing infected by someone also.

This is really amazing! From the some panoramas I've made I did have problems with the sky. Since you have some pics with backlight the exposure can be very different and when the ground fits together the sky often doesn't. Is this also managed by the stitching program? (I think I've already downloaded one some time ago ;-)

Well, I say good night for now - it's 2 done and I really have to go to bed!

Well, I think that the stitching software manages all that, as you can see in most of my panoramas, despite the fact that in a 360 pano, some shots are in backlight and some are in the oposite direction, after stitched there's no trace of the 11 photos anymore. sometimes there is, as this one of the sunset, you can perfectly see the frontiers between the stitched shots
