An old analogue picture from '95 at the end of the Lowlands Festival the owners of this mobile home decided to set it on fire. This weekend the ticket sale for Lowlands 2010 started. Much has changed over the years. In '95, 25.000 people visited the festival while in '94 there where only 12.500. This year A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise (the officials name) will have around 55.000 visitors.

Just a few bands are announced for the festival which will take place on Augustus 20, 21 en 22, 2010)

Sorry Theolfa but the band list is clear isn't it? Hmm it must be the same frozen feeling I just got after our Sven Kramer took the wrong track and was disqualified on the 10KM. Otherwise he would have won a golden medal.

Ohhhh, dit is het wat je ook in herinnering schoot n.a.v. die filmpjes van Bob Ross en bestempelt als leukere dingen dan het verlies van Sven. Ik begrijp het. Een pracht foto zeg.

Wat bezielde die mensen om de boel in de hens te steken Erik? Misschien was er geen meer aan te behalen...

Ach ja, dat waren nog eens vurige tijden ...!

Hello Fai this picture got a bit stained in time but the colours are still bright. The ticket sale for Lowlands 2010 has just started. A nice opportunity to dig up some oldies from the analogue times.

Hallo Chris10, Berend, en Bert. Dit waren zeker nog eens vurige tijden. Het festival was nog jong (ik ook BTW). Je kon kamperen op het terrein waar je met de auto heen kon rijden uitstappen en je tent opzetten. De bezoekersaantallen lieten dat nog toe. Nu moet iedereen de auto parkeren op een grote verzamel parkeerplaats buiten het festival terrein en staan de campings helemaal vol met tentjes.

Wat de reden was dat deze caravan in de hens werd gestoken kan ik alleen naar raden. Het zal wel een heel oud beestje zijn geweest hij was bij aankomst iig. al helemaal bespoten met graffiti. Wat ik wel weet naar het zien van hoe snel deze brand zich ontwikkelde dat je in zo'n sleurhut weinig kans hebt tot overleven bij een brand. In enkele minuten was er niets van over en de toegesnelde brandweer kon alleen de verkoolde resten nog doven.

Hi Molldiddlo well rules are rules. Just felt sorry for him as he was on his way not only for gold but a olympic record too.

Hi Stefan back in those days things where quite different (we could park our cars next to the tent and there where just 25.000 visitors or so) Now it's doubled and more!

He Guido helaas je berichtje hier gemist. Een 'analoge' van wat jaren terug. Helaas zien we je niet zo vaak meer op Pano. Ik mis je creatieve foto's hier wel.
