What a wonderful little village! (Maybe this is just the entrance, I can't tell how big it is.) Very pretty, and it's just perfect the way each roof holds its snow so well.

I like the clock tower peeking over the hill, wanting to see what's going on all over. And just to the right of it, the very small house which looks only big enough to hold one room. This white field here is the perfect place to build a snowman and then have a snowball fight.

Ciao! Ryan

Hi Ryan! Thank you for finding this picture! :-)

It is a little village, but you see only a part of it here. I think, Google Earth shows you the size.

The clock tower belongs to the church, which is hidden behind the houses. The house you are talking about, isn't as small, as it might look. I'll show some more pictures eventually, also from the inside of the castle itself, which is open and can be entered by anyone.

The village belongs to the same municipality as Sumiswald and in the castle is the jurisdiction for the whole muniscipality of the region.

That's a quite different view from a totally different place of the same castle and part of the village. There you see them with the most famous Bernese Alps, a glimpse of the Eiger North face, the Moench and the Jungfrau.

Greetings, May
