I suspect that the National Park Service (NPS) has blatantly plagiarized my work. When I did my work identifying the visible peaks from Clingman's Dome in 2004, the NPS had incorrectly identified nearly half the peaks. The NPS panels on Clingman's Dome had Gregory Bald (262º) identified as Shuckstack (253º), Rocky Top (270º) identified as Gregory Bald (262º), Standing Indian (184º) identified as Mica Knob (174º) and Blanket Mountain (304º) identified as Meigs Mountain (306º). On the current panels on Clingman's Dome, only 4 of the correctly identified peaks were on the panels present in 2004. All of the correctly identified peaks on the current panels are identified in my work. All of the peaks on the current panels that are not in my work are incorrectly identified. See the Clingman's Dome web page on my web site for further details.
