Damage from the Feb. 25-26 storm. This hotel is along the same stretch of rocky coast as the 'Longshadow' photo a few clicks to the right, and is one of two that had their roofs blown off. The ocean is just across the street to the left in this shot.

Uh-oh. Looks like the comb over needs to be adjusted.

Having spent a few years down on the Jersey coast, I can sympathize with this poor guy's plight. I hope he can get it fixed before the season arrives.

Is it okay that I pointed and laughed?

LOL n1w - that's exactly what this scene brought to my mind, too. Would be nice if they could just wrap it back across the top! I think at least at this hotel it was the upper layers of the roof and that there was at least still some structure left over the rooms. At another hotel down the street, the whole roof was pick up and tossed into the yard, a la Wizard of Oz. The news helicopters showed the view right into the now open but recently refurbished rooms...But I think they should still be able to get things repaired to open back up for high season. The state pledged help for that.

Sure who - you may do that. And they'll be glad to offer you one of the un-repaired rooms for your honeymoon! :)

It done got blown to bits and pieces.

Are you blaming me for that? At least only the roof did. Bet it'll be back up and running for summer.
