A classic view! Glad that the state has chosen to preserve it from development. Algonquin looms over everything here, and because it is so much closer to the camera position here than Marcy, is often mistaken for Marcy. The other peaks visible here are Colden at left, and Wallface near the right (steep left side from this perspective). In front of ALgonquin is Mt Jo, one of the best hikes in these parts for the effort needed. WSL, 46er #3310

This is an awesome place. Adirondack Loj Road. I think it is one of the best views of the high peaks.
